\n Your username, general geographic location (such as city, state, country),\n and a link to your App’s user profile may be displayed on your profile page,\n on contributions you make and on related areas. This information will be\n viewable to any user of the App you are engaging with, including the media,\n search engines, and other organizations that access the App. If you do not\n wish to have your personal information displayed, you may choose not to\n reveal your name on your profile page by selecting a username other than\n your name. Our platform provides an open forum for communication by users.\n We do not perform any background checks on users.\n

\n b. Your other social media platforms\n

\n You may share your activities on the App with contacts on other social media\n sites. For example, you may share a bill you voted on via Facebook. To share\n via social networks, you must connect your App account with your social\n media account. In such case, you authorize us to share information with your\n social media account provider, and you understand that the use of the\n information we share will be governed by the social media site’s privacy\n policy. If you do not want your information shared via these channels,\n please do not connect your social media account with your App account and do\n not use the social sharing features on our platform.\n

\n You may voluntarily share information on message boards, chat, profile pages\n and blogs, and other services to which you are able to post information and\n materials (including our pages on Facebook and other social media\n platforms). Please remember that any information you post or disclose\n through these services will become accessible to the public, and may be\n available to other users of the App, social media platform users, and to the\n general public. \n We may share information about you with advertisers and advertising networks\n on our platform, except that we will not provide PII to advertisers or ad\n networks without your approval. \n e. Administrative purposes\n

\n We may share information about you with our services providers who process\n information to provide services to us or on your behalf. We have contracts\n with our service providers that prohibit them from sharing your information\n with anyone else or from using your information for any purposes other than\n providing contracted services.\n
